Alistair Leathwood

Alistair Leathwood

Head of Analytics, Insights, and Media, APAC

Alistair Leathwood leads Circana’s analytics, insights, and media efforts across the APAC region. He brings more than 25 years of expertise to his role, including leadership experience at several high-profile research, insights, and analytics agencies across EMEA, the U.S., and APAC.


Previously, as Circana’s chief commercial officer for the APAC region, he was responsible for client relationships and was pivotal in delivering new Circana solutions that met client needs. Prior to joining Circana, Leathwood led Kantar’s research business in Australia, working closely with the WPP media group. A recognized thought leader on FMCG trends in Australia, Leathwood is a frequent commentator on television and radio and in print publications. A regular speaker at industry conferences, he has particular expertise in the impact of data, analytics, and AI on the retail sector.


Leathwood holds a master’s degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
